About worthclue.com
worthclue.com publishes consumer articles about the things people are curious about buying — around the home, for the body, for work and play — and it is funded by advertising.
What we do
We write about products that catch people's attention: what they are meant to do, what they are made of, how they are used, and what buyers report. The subjects change with what readers are interested in — one week a kitchen gadget, the next a skincare routine or a piece of tech. We try to explain things the way a well-informed friend would, without jargon and without pretending that any product will change your life.
How we are funded, in one paragraph
We are an advertising-funded website. Some of our articles are advertisements, we are paid when readers buy through them, and we say so plainly on every one of those pages and in our Advertising Disclosure. We would rather tell you that up front than have you find out later.
What we are not
- We are not a news organisation and we do not report news.
- We are not a medical service, a laboratory or a technical support service. Nothing here is medical or professional advice, and no product mentioned is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
- We are not a shop. We do not take orders, payments or returns; sellers do that on their own websites.
Our standards
- Advertising is always identified as advertising.
- Customer stories and photographs used in advertisements are illustrative, and we say so.
- We do not invent professional credentials, and we do not present paid content as the verdict of a doctor, a laboratory, an independent testing body or a public authority.
- If we get something wrong and you tell us, we fix it.
